The S.B.O.A Matriculation & Higher Secondary School (at present) located in 13.5 acres of land at Nagamalai West had its humble beginning on 6th June 1979 in semi pucca thatched sheds with 60 students and 8 teachers at S.B.I Staff I Colony to synchronise with the International year of the child. Within a short span, by its dedicated service it gained the recognition of the Public and the Government.
It enjoys the prestigious reputation as the best co-educational, English Medium day school serving 4453 children from L.K.G to Std. XII with 170 Teaching staff, 11 Office staff, 4 Nurses, 1 Counsellor, 1 Site Supervisor and 33 Service staff.
